Rob Meister is a singer, songwriter, musician and music producer and from Hobart, Tasmania.
Rob Meister has toured the world and worked with many top level artists as well as producing hits songs in multiple Latin countries..

Having grown up busking on the streets of Hobart, he quickly found himself working the pub scene in some of the top bands of the day at just 16 years of age.
Soon after, he toured his own band “Blow by Blow” around Australia before settling in Melbourne where he became the Musical Director for French African artist Jean Paul Wabotai, while concurrently doing 7-10 gigs a week with his own duo “Look Sharp”.
During that decade he also collaborated and performed with Aussie Diva Kate Ceberano.

Also at the end of the 90’s he played Electric Bass with Frank Zappa Keyboardist Allan Zavod.
The Album was called “Hardbite” by Endel Rivers which was critically acclaimed and scored some #1’s on charts around the world.
Endel wanted Rob for the European tour as his Bassist, but Rob had a calling to go State side and work as a Songwriter/Producer.

So in the 2002 he moved to the USA.
Soon after arriving he began working with Latin legends Diego Verdaguer and Amanda Miguel where he became the in house Engineer/Producer for their record label DIAM.
He worked with them for several years, which included being the Musical Director and Producer for Ana Victoria.
They Produced two studio and one live album from which they had 3 top ten songs and several #1’s in Radio across Latin america.
His work with Ana Victoria included
her best new artist Grammy nomination in 2012.

With over 1000+ shows in 46 Countries under his belt, Rob Meister has performed with Isaac Hayes, Stanley Clarke, Chick Correa, David Lee Roth and Extreme Bassist Billy Sheehan, David Pomeranz, Latin super star Alberto Plaza, Canadian Songbird France D’Amour and many many more.

As a Singer/Songwriter/Bassist/Guitarist with Sting like vocals, Rob knows how to connect with his audience and entertain, or if needed, just sit back and create vibe – for Rob it’s all about the music.
