The Business is the duo of Alex Roussos and Tim Hall. Two pals friends sincehigh school and musicians from different angles. From double platinum albums,national airplay to session work, fronting bands, and solo gigs, major tours and assorted pub gigs, The Business draw from a wealth of experience.Tim was lead vocalist of Sydney band The Strange from 1990-1997 before joining The Whitlams leading up to ‘The Eternal Nightcap’. Tim got into doingsession singing and his versatile voice has featured on t.v and radio. After his time with The Whitlams, Tim formed Chakradiva which included a support sloton Kylie Minogue’s “On a Night Like ‘This tour in 2001. More recently, Tim hasproduced two records for Australian roots legend Jeff Lang. Tim also released his first solo album ‘No Dogs No Disneyland’ in 2002.Alex was lead vocalist of Sydney bands Circus and Globe and has been fronting bands since the age of 16. From 1991 to 2004 Alex was the lead singer of popular Sydney cover duo After The Storm. In 2005 Alex started performing a solo show in Sydney and on the Central Coast where he has built a loyal following regularly playing at venues including the Crowne Plaza Terrigal, Ettalong Memorial, and Quay West Resort. Alex has a commercial background in production and composition and session work for film, TV and radio and his music has featured in films, TV, radio and video games.Tim and Alex are both multi-instrumentalists and they play acoustic instrumentsin The Business and share the lead and harmony vocal duties. The Business perform acoustic flavoured arrangements of classic songs from the 60s to today with a particular penchant for classic 80’s songs. It is a pleasure to experiencesuch seasoned performers playing timeless material.
